EV charger installation in northwest Montana
Wake up every morning to a full car. A dedicated charger on its own circuit, wired by the crew that does the solar, so the miles you drive can come off your roof instead of the utility.

Charge at home, overnight, on your own power.
A regular outlet will charge a car, slowly, because it was never built to move much power. A dedicated Level 2 charger gets its own 240-volt circuit and a heavier feed, and the car that came home empty is full by morning. Put panels on the roof and the electricity that moves the car is yours, at a rate that does not go up.
Every house has a fixed amount of service coming into it, and the charger has to fit inside what is left. That is the same question a solar interconnection raises, which is why doing both at once means opening the panel once, not twice. Solar is not required. We install chargers on their own, indoors or out, at homes and at businesses, and we wire them in alongside panels and batteries when that is what you are after. Same crew, same warranty.

Questions about EV chargers
- Can I just plug into a regular outlet instead of a Level 2 charger?
- You can, and it is slow, because a household outlet was never built to move much power. A dedicated charger on its own circuit is the difference between a car that is still catching up in the morning and one that is full every day, whatever yesterday looked like.
- Will my electrical panel handle a charger?
- That is the first thing we look at, and it is ours to sort out. A house has a fixed amount of service coming into it, and a charger has to fit inside what is left after the furnace, the well, and everything else. Some panels have room. Some need work first, and if solar is on the table, doing both at once means opening the panel one time.
- Do I need solar to get an EV charger?
- No. A charger is its own electrical job. We install them on their own, and we wire them in alongside panels and batteries when that is what you are after.
- Can the charger go outside?
- Yes, as long as the equipment is rated for outdoor use. That matters more here than most places, since it will spend a good part of the year in the weather.
- Can you install at a business?
- Yes. Same questions at a larger size: what your electrical service can carry, and where you want people parked while they charge.
- Can you add a charger to a house that already has solar?
- Yes. We wire chargers in alongside panels and batteries. The charger has to fit inside the service your house already has, so the panel is the first thing we look at.
